Find Your Edge
A message from Jill Dailey…
I developed this program to help support you in truly understanding your ability in 5 traditional Dailey Method exercises to find your edge. When I say, “find your edge” it’s not about pushing yourself as hard as you can – it’s to help you reach the sweet spot where you’re still comfortable with the discomfort. Starting with the base position -emphasizing foundation, alignment and engagement – you’ll learn and understand your options to progress to challenge yourself and work deeper. Although these are classic barre exercises they can also translate to any workout you’re doing, to give you information on how to slowly (or quickly) progress.
Keep in mind that each day can be a different day, in your body, in your mind, and in your life. Taking the opportunity intentionally to step back or to step up based on where you are in each moment is what will truly give you the advantage of getting stronger and being able to push your boundaries in a safe way.
As always, I encourage you to always give yourself grace. Listen to your body before, during and after each workout so you can find the perfect edge for you.
